  20.  I just recieved my work copy of the pre release lightwave 4.0
  21. for the PC. My P100 with 32 megs of ram and a Gig HD should be
  22. here any day. In anticipation of moving rendered frames from the
  23. PC to one of 2 toasters for out put to videotape, we have bugun
  24. a series of experiments with networking the Amigas with a PC
  25. whit ablolutely no luck. Each amiga has a CEI A 4066 ethernet
  26. card and we use Enlan DFS software and between the 2 amigas it
  27. is great and easy to use. when trying to use the TCP IP demp
  28. software freely available to talk to the PC we cant seem to make
  29. a connection. I'm lucky in that I have 2 very Knowledgable
  30. broadcast engineers helping me on this but it has us all
  31. stumped. According to all the Documentation we have read we
  32. should be talking, but, no cigar. The people from ENLAN say that
  33. in 8 to 12 weeks they will have a product to do this easily but
  34. I have to be able to produce right away in order to justify the
  35. purchase.

  37. If anyone could email me any information, in as much detail as
  38. possible, software, hardware, setups or whatever it could be
  39. helpful. I know Im not the only one doing this so pleas Inundate
  40. me with information.

  42. Also, Ive been running my personal copy of 4.0 on my P90 with
  43. 16 megs of ram and windows 3.11 at home for about a week and its
  44. great. I cant wait for the real release. Im sure it will be full
  45. of macros, displacement mapping, and AVI support (wishfull
  46. thinking?)
